TIPS TO IMPROVE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY - EQUIPMENT - PHOTOGRAPHY SOFTWARE
Yesterday, October 3rd, 2015, I was one of 12 local photographers that participated in the Eighth Annual Scott Kelby World Wide Photowalk. We were part of the 20,000 plus participants in over 1,000 cities worldwide that spent the day photographing the sites. Our walk was at the Lake Brownwood State Park. I had not been to the State Park in over 15 years and was pleasantly surprised at how diverse the Park is with new hiking trails, fishing, camping sites, and especially the natural stone buildings that were built in the 1930's by the CCC. This is the seventh walk that I have participated in, all in various cities throughout Texas and one in Scottsdale, Arizona. These walks are held to not only promote photography, but to meet and share with other photographers with a common interest. There's also the possibility of winning some very nice prizes. What's really neat is most participants will post their best images to share with each other from around the world on various social medias. We will be selecting our groups best image to submit later this week. I'll post it when the selection is made.
I want to thank our walk leader, Julie Mize, for taking the time out of her busy schedule for organizing our local walk. She did a great job.
I haven't decided which photo I'm going to submit for our groups consideration, but here are some examples of what I'm working on.
