Wanted to do something a little different this week that I have been thinking about for quite awhile. Still-life with a touch of the Renaissance.
I signed up for Joel Grimes Still Life Masterclass and really liked his approach to doing Still life photography. See www.joelgrimes.com. The basics to his technique is using a single Cross Lighting setup, similar to the Rembrandt Portrait Lighting style, and adding Textures, along with Blending options. These are my first attempt at using this technique. What do you think?
If you're into doing panoramic photos and use Adobe Lightroom CC to process the image(s), here's a new feature just released in the latest update. It's called Boundary Warp. It's available once you have selected your panoramic images and process them in Photo Merge - Panorama. Once the images have been processed the new feature is available prior to completing the merge. This is pretty cool as it eliminates further processing in other software to achieve the same results. I made a short video showing how it works, see below. Comments are welcomed.
