I came across this article recently and was struck by its unique relationship to photography.
How to Snipe Out Your Best Shots Ever, by Simon Takk, on the PictureCorrect.com website. I was really surprised by the number of comments from readers that were negative to the tone of the article. I personally think it is a good article and has a direct relationship to becoming a more observant and deliberate photographer. Wanted to show an example of what photographers call the Blue Hour, that time shortly after sunset when the night sky turns a deep blue. It only last for a few minutes, but it's a beautiful light for a variety of photographic night-time subjects.
This was taken last night at the Brownwood Feels Like Home Celebration of the Sister's on the Fly Vintage Camper Tour. (Since I only shoot in Raw, I converted the Raw file to a jpeg for presentation purposes and the adjusted image was done in Adobe Lightroom cc 2015). |
